I simply can't play anymore. Since I put in my new HD, the lag is terrible. I get one game out of it and the next game is terrible. pity, i loved that game.

It looks like server side lag. Maybe something with the master server. They could have cut down the machines doing that rule and dicked up everything. Maybe the mythical next patch will release that chain?

You should have given it a better chance. I don't know why some people bitch about it. The physics are excellent, and each weapon/vehicle has a counter weapon/vehicle. The bugs are the problem, but it's EA. I can't play now because of the lag. I hope you don't think the next BF Heroes won't be buggy, at least initially.

I found PB released a maintenance update on 2-2. Don't know if its a coincidence but I manually updated and was lag free all day yesterday. Also for all the non haters they're back to working on the 1.51 so hopefully we'll have that soon

Now for me the sci fi theme was the only thing that made all the BF2+ magic make sense. Ammo boxes that magicly pour ammo, health kits that radiate, self healing tanks, and my number one bitch people magically appearing around the squad leader after dieing.

Well the lag issue has totally pissed me off.The game now gives me a headache with the pausing. I can play for a game with no problems then the next game it starts to stutter so I join another server and it stops but after a little while it comes back again! Lately I've clocked more hours on 1942 than on 2142 and that's sad to say the least cause I love playing with all of you on 2142. I miss the fun and the UG gangbang but I'm sorry to say that I've done the unthinkable....I bought a new game! 2142 fufilled all my playing needs and now that it's gone I had to do something and when I was watching my boy play mass effect 2 on his xbox I knew I just had to have this game so I went out today and bought it. So I'm loading this game up all excited and almost wetting myself, get all done and installed when the hammer came. My rig won't support the game because my video card is a G force 6600 and I needed a Gforce 6800 for minimum requirement. Well my PC is old [2005] and upgrading this one is out of the question for me so tomorrow I'm off to buy a new PC. All because 2142 won't play....sheesh. Oh and by the way, mass effect 2.....another freaking EA game. I swear these people have me by the balls.
